Ballard County Middle School Lady Bombers grabbed an early lead on their way to a 7-1 victory over Carlisle on Monday. The BCMS ladies scored on a walk to Maggie White and a double by Kilee Stewart in the first inning.
Lacey Burnley was the winning pitcher for the Lady Bombers, allowing only three hits and one run over 4 2/3 innings, striking out four and walking none.
The Lady Bombers had eight hits in the game. Aubrey Alexander, Madyson Bohde, and Adalyn Hargrove all had multiple hits for Ballard.
